Phoenix, Ariz. - Casa Corazon, a vibrant new restaurant in central Phoenix, offers a delightful taste of Oaxaca and Yucatán cuisine. Owner Jason Verdugo meticulously transformed an old cottage into a stunning space, complete with vaulted ceilings, tiled floors, and frescoed walls. Casa Corazon quickly became a welcome addition to the neighborhood.

The menu boasts a diverse selection of Oaxacan and Yucatán dishes. A signature item is the Camarones Culichi – succulent prawns bathed in a flavorful salsa crema made with poblano chiles and cilantro, which has garnered the restaurant significant acclaim.

For happy hour enthusiasts, Casa Corazon offers a $5 margarita special from 3-6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and all day on Tuesdays. Additionally, $3 tacos, including cochinita pibil, camarones fritos, chicken tinga, and al pastor, are available during happy hour.

Beyond these highlights, the extensive menu caters to a variety of palates. A unique touch is the salsa cart, offering an array of house-made sauces to complement your meal, ranging from a creamy jalapeño to a tangy salsa Japonais.
