Lylo: Upscale Poolside Oasis with Sonoran Flavors

Phoenix, Ariz. - Lylo, playfully named after British pool float slang, reimagines the poolside bar experience. This mid-century modern space with a vacation vibe offers an escape from the Arizona heat with refreshing tropical libations and a recently revamped Sonoran-inspired menu.

Tropical Tipples:

Lylo's beverage program features boozy takes on classic poolside drinks. Guests can cool down with Dole Whip soft serve ice cream blended with rum, Sorbet Bellinis, or the shareable Lylo Splash Bowl (serves 4-6).

Sonoran Refresh:

The Pan-Asian menu has been updated to incorporate Sonoran flavors, offering a more approachable poolside dining experience. Gone are the spam musubi, replaced by a selection of tacos made with fresh, house-made tortillas. Diners can choose from options like Al Pastor and Chicken Tinga.

Appetizer Adventure:

For starters, the Guacamole Trio offers a classic guacamole alongside unique variations featuring chicharron, pomegranate, and pepita. The Shrimp Aguachile Verde with its serrano chile and lime sauce provides a lighter option, while the Salmon Ceviche, bathed in a chili-soy vinaigrette and topped with crunchy jicama, red onion, jalapeno, and chips, offers a satisfying combination of textures and flavors.

Entree Excellence:

The Shrimp a La Diabla, featuring juicy shrimp in a citrus chili marinade, is a standout entree choice. Taco aficionados can create their own three-taco combo for $15, with options like Chicken Tinga, Pastor, and Avocado.

Sweet Endings:

Don't miss the churros served with a decadent horchata whipped crema – the perfect way to end your poolside feast.

Happy Hour:

For budget-conscious imbibers, happy hour is offered Monday through Friday from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, with $1 off all beers and well spirits. Caipirinhas, Margaritas, and Mojitos are just $6.50 during happy hour and can be customized with flavors of strawberry, raspberry, blackberry, peach, mango, passionfruit, or pineapple.

Poolside Relaxation:

For a complete poolside experience, guests can take advantage of Resort Pass options. Day passes to the pool start at $10, with pool chairs and daybeds available for an additional fee (rates are subject to change). Contact the hotel for more information or visit the Resort Pass website.
