The Eleanor: Modern Brunch with a Family Focus

Make it stand out

Scottsdale, Ariz. - The Eleanor, a new mid-century modern-inspired brunch spot, joins the Valley dining scene from the ownership group behind Fate Brewing and The Clayton House.

Casual Comfort:

The Eleanor offers counter service with a focus on convenience. Guests can choose from a selection of bakery items, espressos, and grab-and-go options. A full menu features both sweet and savory dishes, ranging from traditional favorites like biscuits and gravy and chilaquiles to cinnamon banana pancakes.

Family-Friendly Ambiance:

The bright and airy space is designed with families in mind, offering a quieter and more relaxed atmosphere compared to the lively brunch scene often found in Scottsdale. Attentive staff deliver comfort food dishes made from scratch.

Chef-Driven Menu:

The menu reflects the culinary creations Head Chef Kent Macaulay prepares for his own family. A graduate of the Scottsdale Culinary Institute, Macaulay boasts over a decade of experience working with LGO Hospitality.

Breakfast Classics, Elevated:

The Eleanor offers familiar breakfast favorites executed with an emphasis on detail and flavor. "Wake-up Cocktails" ($10) provide a playful twist on classic morning drinks. The "What's Up, Doc" reimagines the Paloma with a vibrant orange hue, combining tequila, Cointreau, carrot juice, and grapefruit soda for a refreshing and effervescent drink. Another reinvention is the Breakfast Old Fashioned, featuring coffee liqueur and a house-made maple simple syrup infused with James Coffee Co. beans.

Quick Bites and Heartier Fare:

The "Quick Bites" section offers options like avocado toast on locally-sourced Noble Bread with a flavorful tomato jam or a sweet toast with dates, ricotta, hazelnut crumble, and local honey. For a health-conscious choice, the "Buddha Bowl" combines red quinoa, brown rice, crispy chickpeas, avocado, corn, pickled carrots, and baby kale with a lemon vinaigrette.

Must-Try Dishes:

Diners raved about several dishes, including the Salmon Benedict with house-smoked salmon and Meyer lemon hollandaise, the Chilaquiles featuring tortilla chips simmered in salsa verde and topped with queso Oaxaca and pickled onions, and the Stuffed French Toast loaded with Nutella, cream, and strawberries.

Don't Miss the Sides:

Breakfast potatoes served with many dishes are a standout. Roasted with pepper, Aleppo pepper, and sumac spice, they offer a delightful accompaniment to any meal.
